Welcome, Welcome! I am so excited to have you stop or hop by for Day ONE of SEVEN (yes, 7) Stampin’ Up! OnStage November 2017 Display Stamper Blog Hops! (whew, I got a little winded there!!). Ok, enough of the really lame jokes, but, seriously, you are in for a real treat! There are twenty very talented Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, from around the world, that are showcasing their creations from the November 2017 OnStage Display Boards! These are brand new products to be released in the 2018 Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalogs going live on January 3, 2018!
I received three Stamp Sets (along with DSP and Accessories) to use to create my display pieces. I will be showcasing a couple of my creations every day of this 7-Day Display Stamper Blog Hop.
- Magical Day Stamp Set (available as a Bundle, with Coordinating Dies) from the Myths & Magic Suite of Products
- Sweet Little Something Stamp Set – A Three-Step Photopolymer Stamp Set that Creates an Adorable Picturesque Bunny with Ease
- Perennial Birthday Stamp Set – Available in Clear or Wood Mount and Coordinates with a Stunning Project Kit (not shown)
So, prepare to be WOWed by these up and coming products that you can get your hands on beginning January 3rd, 2018!
I am a Frenzied Fussy Cutter! I love it, it’s my therapy! BUT, don’t let that deter you from a “gotta-have this” feel! This set will create beautiful flat-lay works of art for your card base. I promise to prove that to you in future creations! Isn’t it just stunning against an ink smooched background?
I stamped all images in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and colored them with my Stampin’ Blends! I used the largest Stitched Shaped Circle as my canvas for arranging my flowers, leaving a space in the middle for that All-New and fabulous Picture Perfect Paper Ribbon (available in 3 colors: Bermuda Bay, Berry Burst, and Lemon-Lime Twist!)
The New Tutti-Frutti Adhesive Backed Sequins are perfect for that final touch to your paper-craft projects. They are available in a pack of 5 colors, which include Berry Burst, Lemon-Lime Twist, Pool Party (used above), Pumpkin Pie and an Iridescent Yellow.
Doesn’t that bunny look so realistic? It is considered a Two-Step Stamp Series, but it actually comes to life in three steps. You can use the same color using 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Generation Stamping (otherwise know as “stamping-off”) to obtain darker to lighter shades OR you can use three similar shades of one color, which is the method I went with. This cutie was stamped with Basic Grey, Smoky Slate and Sahara Sand (I think, I accidentally tossed my notes, whoops).
I used the colorful, all-occasions side of the Myths & Magic Specialty Designer Series Paper on this card. I wanted to show off its dual-use; I LOVE both sides and have a hard time cutting it 🙂 Can anyone else relate?
And my last card for Day One is an exciting look at the Myths & Magic Suite of Product. This Suite is a going to be a HUGE HIT! Most of the creations I am going to share with you over the remaining 6 days will be using the shimmery goodness this suite of products provides.
If you want to see details on the products used on this card, you can check out my previous post here: Sneak Peek to the Myths & Magic Suite. I shared photos of the product and details of my card creating process.
Now, be sure to hop along to the VERY TALENTED and MY NEWLY FOUND CANADIAN FRIEND: Carolynn Sander @ Care Bear Stamps!
Here is the complete blog roll of everyone participating in this hop! Now go soak in oodles of inspiration from this talented group of Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators!
Be sure to stop on back tomorrow for Day 2 of the (deep breath) Stampin’ Up! OnStage November 2017 Display Stamper Blog Hops!
