Happy 16th Birthday – Just Add Ink 390

Happy 16th Birthday Card Using the Number of Years & Milestone Moments Stamp Sets by Stampin' Up! Birthday Card created by Stesha Bloodhart, Stampin' Hoot! #steshabloodhart #stampinhoot

Happy Tuesday All!

The holidays have my internal schedule on high havoc.  I started my post for today as Happy Hump Day only to realize it’s only TUESDAY!  I definitely do not need the days to go any faster, I am already behind on shopping, we only have a few gifts purchased and I still have so much decorating to do. You may see reduced activity on my blog this week as I turn my focus to my family. I am sure you all can understand that.

I think that the Milestone Moments & Number of Years Stamp Sets are the perfect match for creating cards for special moments in life.  I have used it on 40th Birthday Card and now the 16th Birthday.  (You can see my 40th Birthday Card Post here).  I love stamp sets that are fun and versatile, anything that gets numerous uses is well worth the investment!

Can you believe it, another card using the Ink Smooching Technique!  I just cannot seem to create a card these days without adding it.  If you haven’t downloaded my step-by-step tutorial on ink smooching and watercolor background, you can download it now by CLICKING HERE.

The Just Add Ink #390 Sketch was the perfect layout for my 16th Birthday Card!  I love using White Stampin’ Emboss Powder on Basic Black Cardstock. It adds a wow factor with little effort.  Use the Banner Triple Punch to flag the ends easily!

This card was for my nephew who turned 16.  We celebrated with a dinner at one of our favorite restaurants that just happens to be half-way between us and them.  If you live in the Twin-Cities, I highly recommend Sal’s Angus Grill in Stillwater, MN.  It’s a lot of food, so go hungry!

Stesha this is such a striking card. Fab use of our sketch. Once again your backgrounds and fussy cutting are sensational. Thanks for joining us again at Just Add Ink.
