This month’s theme is…..Embossing!  I decided to pair up both dry embossing and embossing powder…I even thought about Embossing Paste, but I will leave that for another creation.

Cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11.  Score and fold at 5 1/2.

Watercolor wash a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with Calypso Coral, Grapefruit Grove, and Terracotta Tile Classic Ink with an Aqua Painter.  Allow to dry completely, then add another layer.  Allow to dry completely, then add a few water droplets.  Let the droplets sit for approximately 30 seconds, then remove with a paper towel.  Cut to 4 x 5 1/4.  Tuck inside the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder and zip through a die-cutting and embossing machine.  Then, tuck inside the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder and zip through again. Adhere to a 4 1/8 x 5 3/8 piece of Grapefruit Grove Cardstock with Snail Adhesive. 

Use a Daisy Punch to create the notches (top and bottom) to hold the Whisper White Baker’s Twine.  Triple wrap the Whisper White Baker’s Twine, securing with a bow at the top. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Crop a piece of Vellum Cardstock with the 2nd largest Stitched Nested Labels Die. Cut to 3 1/2 wide (at the point).  Rub with an Embossing Buddy, then stamp the sentiment (Itty Bitty Greetings) in Versamark Ink.  Cover with Basic Black Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool. 

Use Paper Snips to snip the images from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper.  Adhere one to the Vellum Nested Label and the other direct to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere the Vellum to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals that are hidden behind the bird image. 

Add 6 Coastal Cabana Holiday Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown. 

My first thought on this card was to only emboss the Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder…but I decided that didn’t give the Watercolor Paper quite the texture that I was looking for, so I decided to zip it through again using the Country Floral 3D Embossing Folder.  I love the look of them both together!  So happy I stumbled across it.
