You don’t have to stick to traditional holiday colors when creating with the Christmastime is Here Suite.

My two creations feature the rose in Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry, my favorite color of roses.  Personally, I am not a traditional red rose kinda girl.

The Christmastime is Here Suite comes with so many FABULOUS products (listed below) that were not showcased in my creations today.  I shared a Gold Mini Pizza Box and a set of five 3×3 cards on October 1st.  You can view the details here.

I decided to keep my card bases neutral with Crumb Cake card stock and used Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper as the canvas to create my rose.

Step by Step Tutorial Button

Cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11.  Score and fold at 5 1/2.

Use the Stamparatus to stamp the rose image in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto the center of a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.

Add color using the following Classic Inks and an Aqua Painter:  Leaves – Old Olive & Mossy Meadow; Pinecones – Crumb Cake & Soft Suede; Rose & Berries – Mango Melody, Pumpkin Pie, & Cajun Craze.

Add dimension by shading close to the lines of the images using a Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Write Marker.

Crop the image using a die-cutting and embossing machine and the coordinating die. Adhere to the card with a double layer of Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Add Linen Thread to the left-hand side, securing with a bow.  Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool.  Snip with Paper Snips. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals

Add Gold Glitter Enamel Dots as the final touch!
