2020 Artisan Design Team Blog Hop: Coordination Product

I love the look of a watercolor image against White Embossing, don’t you?  I stamped the Happy Birthday To You image in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock (rub that baby with an Embossing Buddy first), covered the stamped image with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder.  Give the piece of cardstock a little flick to remove the excess powder, then grab a Heat Tool and set the powder in place!  

Here are some Step-by-Step Instructions on how I created the complete card:

1. With a Paper Trimmer, cut a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11″.  Score and fold at 5 1/2″.  (this is your card base).
2. Cut a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8″.  Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
3. Cut a piece of Vellum Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4″.  Zip through a die-cutting and embossing machine tucked inside a Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  Adhere to the card with Snail Adhesive. 
4. Put a drop of Whisper White Craft Ink Refill onto an Acrylic Block.  Grap with an Aqua Painter that is filled with water.  Flick the Aqua Painter so the white sprays onto a 3 1/4 x 4 1/2″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock. Let dry completely or set with a Heat Tool.   Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.  
5. Crop a piece of Vellum Cardstock using the largest Stitched Circle Die.  Zip through a die-cutting and embossing machine tucked inside a Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.  Snip a touch off the edge with Paper Snips.  Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
6. Use the sprig and leaf dies (Birthday Dies Coordination Product) to crop 6 of each with Vellum Cardstock.  Adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots. 
7. Use a Stamparatus to stamp the birthday cake image (Happy Birthday To You) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy. Cover the stamped image with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Flick the cardstock to remove the excess powder, then set the Stampin’ Emboss Powder with a Heat Tool.  Crop the cake with the coordinating die (Birthday Dies) and a die-cutting and embossing machine.  Color the image with an Aqua Painter and the following Classic Inks:  Blueberry Bushel, Night of Navy, Smoky Slate, Gray Granite.  Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
8. Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment (Happy Birthday To You) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy. Cover the stamped sentiment with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Flick the cardstock to remove the excess powder, then set the Stampin’ Emboss Powder with a Heat Tool.  Snip closely with Paper Snips.  Adhere to the card with snipped-to-size Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.  
9. Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels as shown for the final touch!

SEE THAT?  That is the smooth edge of a die-cut cake!  How did I get that phenomnally cut die-cut?  With the NEW Birthday Dies (Item 153590) from the Coordination Product Release!
