It’s a Beautiful Day for a Beautiful Day Stamp Set!
Welcome to the Stamp Review Crew Blog Hop! Today we bring you a stamp set that has been around for a bit, but it is ‘beautiful’ and so great to create with. My post will be short and sweet (it is my oldest’s birthday today and we are heading to the Wild Hockey Game as I type this).
I used the Stamparatus to stamp the butterfly in Stazon Ink onto Vellum Cardstock. I had to stamp it twice for complete coverage and the Stamparatus allowed me to easily do that!
I snipped it out with Paper Snips, then flipped it over and colored it with Stampin’ Blends. I used Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight, Soft Sea Foam, Bermuda Bay, Pretty Peacock, and Night of Navy…All Dark as Vellum Cardstock mutes the colors.
I adhered it to the card with a single Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
My card also uses a brand new 3D Embossing Folder from the 2020 Jan-June Mini Catalog called Parisian Flourish, which is part of the Parisian Blossom Suite of products.
When using 3D Embossing folders, it always gives a better embossed image if you spritz the cardstock with a bit of water using a Stampin’ Spritzer prior to zipping it through the die-cutting and embossing machine. Use the 3D Embossing Plate for ease of creating your sandwhich.
I love how the sentiments pop when you heat emboss with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder onto Basic Black Cardstock. Snipping the sentiment with Paper Snips is my favorite way to display it!
