Stampin’ Up! 2020 Artisan Blog Hop – Ornate Garden Suite

1. With a Paper Trimmer, cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11″.  Score and fold at 5 1/2″.  (this is your card base).
2.  Cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 1/8 x 5.  Use the scalloped edge die (Ornate Borders Dies), along with a die-cutting and embossing machine to crop the right and left edge as shown.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
3. Cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 3 1/2 x 5.  Using an embossing mat and a die-cutting and embossing machine, use the Ornate Layers Die to emboss the “frame” as shown. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
4. Stamp the flowers (4 of each) from the Ornate Style Stamp Set in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool.  Snip out the flowers with Paper Snips. NOTE: I also snipped apart the flowers from the leaves so that I could place them where they fit best.
5. Color the flowers with an Aqua Painter and the following Classic Inks:  Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, and Mossy Meadow. 
6. Assemble and adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals. 
7. Cut two pieces of Old Olive Ornate Garden Ribbon to 8 inches.  Tie into a bow and adhere with a Mini Glue Dot. 
8. Stamp the sentiment (Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool.  Trim close as shown.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

3. With an Aqua Painter, apply a watercolor wash of Pool Party Ink to a 3 7/8 x 5 1/8 piece of Shimmery White Cardstock.  Adhere with Snail Adhesive. 
4. Stamp the flower from the Ornate Style Stamp Set in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool.  Snip with Paper Snips. 
5. Color the flowers with an Aqua Painter and the following Classic Inks: Blackberry Bliss, Melon Mambo, Petal Pink, Grapefruit Grove, Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, and Mossy Meadow. 
6. Stamp the sentiment (Ornate Thanks Stamp Set) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool.  Trim close as shown.  Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
