Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Last Minute Gifts/Cards to inspire you with your holiday list. We really hope that you will be enjoy all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
Hockey season is going strong so if you have noticed my absence, then you now know why I have been MIA…This weekend will be our third weekend in a row on the road, in a hotel and watching our boys do what they love. Although I desperately miss my creative time, I wouldn’t have it any other way, they will never be 13 and 10 again (soon to be 14 and 11)…so creative time can wait!
This holiday card took the Blog Hop Theme literally. I created this last minute. It is 10:45 PM, I just finished creating and photographing the card. Now for the short & sweet blog post.
The star of my last minute card is the soon-to-retire Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder (159831). This embossing folder made my list of favorite things…and I cannot believe this is the first time I am using it…(or at least remember using it).
It’s currently on sale for only $4.00, a 60% savings, whoa! I just love the whimsy trees! Snag it while you still can, it gone for go on January 4, 2023 (or while supplies last).
Use a Paper Trimmer to cut the following:
- Basic White 12 x 12 Cardstock
- 6 x 12 – scored at 6 (card base)
- 5 3/4 x 5 3/4
- 5 1/4 x 5 1/4
- Basic White Cardstock
- 2 1/2 x 3 1/4
- Starry Sky Cardstock
- 5 3/4 x 5 3/4
- 5 x 5
Burnish the fold of the card base with a Bone Folder.
Adhere the larger square of Starry Sky to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Zip the smaller square of Starry Sky through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside the Whimsical Woodland 3D Embossing Folder.
Take the White Craft Ink Pad and gently drag it across the embossed cardstock.
Squeeze a drop of White Craft Stampin’ Ink Refill onto a Clear Block or Silicone Mat. Use a Water Painter to pick it up and add a touch of water. Splatter onto the cardstock by gently tapping it onto your finger. Let dry completely.
Adhere to the 5 1/4 square of Basic White Cardstock with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Starry Sky Classic Ink onto the piece of Basic White. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Framed Floret oval die.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with the following:
- Adhesive Backed Seasonal Sequins – White
- Iridescent Pearl Basic Jewels
- Solid Faceted Gems – Night of Navy
- Iridescent Rhinestone Basic Jewels
