Score the 11″ side at 1 1/4″ and 10″.
Remove the four corners with Paper Snips by following the score lines.
Assemble and adhere at overlays.
Adhere a 3 x 7 5/8″ piece of Basic White Cardstock to the front of the envelope for addressing.

I love adding an embossed white sentiment on Basic Black cardstock to make it pop! How do you love to add your sentiments?

More inspiration awaits! Use the Blog Hop Line-up below to visit the rest of this month’s Design Team. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
Mark your calendars for our next blog hop on February 10th when our theme will be “Birthday Bonanza” where the design team will be sharing birthday projects that celebrate our family and friends. Don’t miss the fun! Until then, please stay safe and have fun in your craft room.

#tgifc298 Sketch Challenge – Blending Brushes & Magnolias

TGIF! Time for a Sketch Challenge!
Welcome to another TGIF Challenge, this week it’s a sketch challenge!
One of my New Year’s Resolutions is to try to use my box of scraps as much as possible…if I don’t use a few items from it a week, I am going to put it up for Blog Candy so that someone else can use it…it’s packed full of die-cuts, colored images, card bases, and more that have not made the cut of a new project. Let’s see how well I do with this resolution!
What on this card was pulled from my box? The magnolia and the pieced together sentiment. I quickly put together a card bade and added elements to fit this challenge.
I have a lot of new goodies waiting to be debuted, but I need to stick to my resolution too. Stay tuned for new stuff soon!

Begin by using a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Stamp the small magnolia image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink several times around the edge of the card base.
Use an all-new Blending Brush to add Petal Pink Classic Ink starting in the bottom right corner, moving to the middle, until you get the desired coverage.
Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock to 3 1/4 x 4 1/4 and a piece of Vellum Cardstock to 3 3/4 x 5. Adhere together with Mini Glue Dots and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop a piece of Whisper White Cardstock that has been embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder, with the largest Stitched Shapes Circle Die. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the magnolia in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Magnolia die. Color with the following Stampin Blend Combo Packs: Petal Pink, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, and Mossy Mossy Meadow.
Adhere a Gold Hoop to the card with Mini Glue Dots. Adhere the Magnolia with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink onto a 1/2 x 2 3/4 piece of Basic White Cardstock. Adhere to a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock that has been cropped on both the top and bottom with the Stitched Be Mine Dies and Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Add a bit of Petal Pink Classic Ink to the bottom with a Blending Brush. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I absolutely love how quick and easy it is to color this large magnolia flower. I thought I would share my previous creation to see how very beautiful this flower is! You can click on the images to view my original blog post and details and a tutorial.

Whisper White has been a Stampin’ Up! staple for so long. I love it and I know you love it, too. Stampin’ Up! is sad to announce that the supplier’s mill producing their Whisper White cardstock has permanently closed due to impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, they weren’t given much notice on this closure. This means that the technology unique to this particular supplier is now unavailable to them and they can no longer offer their Whisper White cardstock and related products, such as Whisper White Note Cards & Envelopes. Please note that this won’t affect any of their other cardstock, this only affects Whisper White.
Stampin’ Up! has launched a new line of Basic White card stock and envelopes to replace Whisper White. Available NOW!
