This month’s theme is….Stepping Into Spring!  Daffodils!  What is more Spring than Daffodils?

Create this slimline card using the Daffodil Daydream Bundle by Stampin' Up! Card by Stesha Bloodhart, Stampin' Hoot!

I colored the daffodils with Stampin’ Blends – Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral. Love, Love that color combination!

Step by Step Tutorial Button

Begin with a 8 1/2 x 8 piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock.  Score and fold at 4.

Adhere a 3 x 8 1/2 piece of Flowering Fields Designer Series Paper to a 3 1/8 x 8 1/2 piece of Basic White Cardstock with Stampin’ Seal. 

Crop three pieces of Vellum Cardstock with the largest Layering Circles Die.  Adhere as shown with small bits of Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Stamp the daffodils in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. Color with Daffodil Delight, Calypso Coral, Old Olive, and Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends. 

Crop with the coordinating Daffodils dies. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Stamp the sentiment and splatter in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.  Crop with the Tasteful Labels Die. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

Embellish with Clear Polished Dots.

I love how bright and bold the mushroom, flowers and bird are in Real Red.  Go ahead and add a few strokes of Light Cherry Cobbler to increase the depth and dimension of the coloring.
