#tgifc142 Sketch Challenge : Barn Door Bundle
Barn Door Bundle!

Thank God It’s Friday!
Welcome to another TGIF Challenge Post, #tgifc142. This week is a sketch challenge and I was excited to pull out my All-New Barn Door Bundle! This is another of my favorite bundles in the 2018 Occasions Catalog! I love rustic decor and my style of paper crafting I think carries that through…and being you can make it into a slider card, make it so much more fun!

Card Details:
Card Base: Crumb Cake Cardstock cut to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 in. Scored/Folded at 4 1/4 inches for a standard sized card that fits perfectly in our Medium Sized Envelopes.
2nd Layer: Crumb Cake Cardstock cut to 5 1/4 in x 4 1/8 in, then zipped through the Big Shot with the die that creates the sliders. You can see the dies in action via this video from Stampin’ Up! You can see all details of assembly in the video as well.
Sentiment Strip: Crumb Cake Cardstock cut to 4 in x 2 1/4 in and run through the Big Shot with the Pinewood Planks Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. I adhered it to the 2nd Layer with Snail Adhesive. The sentiments were stamped on Crumb Cake Cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink then fussy cut with my Paper Snips. The flowers were cropped with the individual dies out of the stamped wreath image. Sentiments & flowers adhered with Mini Glue Dots
Barn Door: Barn Door Stamp Set Stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink on Whisper White Thick Cardstock.
Ink: Basic Black Archival Ink Pad, Always Artichoke, Crushed Curry and Island Indigo Classic Ink Pads. Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Bronze Stampin’ Blends
Tools & Adhesive: Stampin’ Trimmer, Paper Snips, Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, Sliding Door Framelits Dies, Clear Stamp Blocks E & D, Mini Glue Dots, Snail Adhesive, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, Washers

This Barn Door was colored with the following Stampin’ Blends: Light and Dark Crumb Cake & Bronze. I colored the entire image with the Light Crumb Cake. Then I colored accents for a shaded look with the Bronze. I went over the entire image again with Dark Crumb Cake, then blended with Light Crumb Cake. Next time I will attempt a weathered look with Watercolor Paper, Classic Ink, and my Aqua Painter.

WOW!! This is really, really cool!!! I LOVE that barn door!!!
Can I send this in the mail?ruth
Hi Ruth, yes, you can send it through the mail but you will need to put a non-machineable butterfly stamp on it. They will hand cancel the stamp and it won’t be damaged by the machine.
What is the square die used for? I can’t find an idea using it.
