The card I created was quick and easy, outside of the fussy cutting! The Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper can be earned with a qualifying $50 purchase, March 3 – 31st or While Supplies Last!
Begin by cutting a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Use a Sponge Dauber to add Petal Pink Classic to the card base in an ombre like fashion starting from the bottom right corner (this is completely optional as most is covered up).
Cut a piece of Rose Foil (Everything is Rosy Product Medley, now ONLY $44) to 3 x 4 1/4. Adhere with Snail Adhesive.
Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4. Use a Sponge Dauber to add Petal Pink Classic to the card base in an ombre like fashion starting from the bottom right corner. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Color the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper flowers with Sponge Daubers and Crushed Curry (flower center), Petal Pink (petals), and Pear Pizzazz (leaves) Classic Inks. Use Paper Snips to snip out the flowers. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the “Congrats” sentiment (Seriously the Best Stamp Set) in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Rose Gold Foil. Cover with Clear Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess, and set with a Heat Tool. Snip closely with Paper Snips. Adhere as shown with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Petal Pink 5/8″ Organdy Striped Ribbon to 1″ long. Fold and adhere in the upper left corner with Mini Glue Dots.
Pull apart a piece of Whisper White Solid Baker’s Twine so that it reduced to linen thread. Combine 4 strands and tie in a bow. Adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
Add Rhinestone Basic Jewels that have been colored with a Petal Pink Dark Stampin’ Blend for the final touch.
I have tried several ways to color the Flowering Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper. I have found that the best and easiest way to do it is by far Sponge Daubers. If you do not have them on hand, I highly recommend them for this paper. Stamping Sponges will work as well, you just can’t get as precise as you can with Daubers.
