TGIF! Time for a Color Challenge (my favorite)!
Welcome to another TGIF Challenge, this week it’s time for a color challenge! The beautiful mix of Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, and Highland Heather! I decided to dust off the Christmas Gleaming Bundle and gift it a go. I am pleasantly surprised with the results. Soft and subtle, yet stunning, don’t you agree?
Begin by using a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Stamp the holly image (Christmas Gleaming) and stamp the edge of the cardstock multiple times in Smoky Slate Classic Ink.
Zip a 3 1/4 x 4 1/2 piece of Smoky Slate Cardstock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside the Parisian Flourish 3D Embossing Folder.
Triple wrap with Whisper White Baker’s Twine (available January 5, 2021) and secure it with a bow.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop a piece of Whisper White Cardstock that has been embossed with the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder, with the largest Stitched Shapes Circle Die. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the two ornaments and holly in Smoky Slate Classic Ink onto Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Color with the following Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends: Balmy Blue, Smoky Slate, and Highland Heather.
Crop the ornaments with the coordinating Gleaming Ornament Punch. Snip the Holly with Paper Snips. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Smoky Slate Classic Ink onto Smoky Slate Cardstock. Snips with Paper Snips. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Embellish with Rhinestone Basic Jewels that have been colored with Dark Balmy Blue and Highland Heather Stampin’ Blends.
