Global Design Project #336 – it’s time to CASE (Copy and Selectively Edit) the Designer – The FABULOUS Angela Meiritz-Reid!
I love the simplicity and little artistic touches she has given her card. I used the same technique and layout as he did, I just changed up the stamp set, using the RETIRING Free as a Bird…one of my all-time favorites.
Begin by cutting a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Stamp the branch image randomly as shown in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Shimmery White Cardstock.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop a piece of Vellum Cardstock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the 3″ Layering Circle Die. Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue that has been applied lightly with a Sponge Dauber.
Stamp the bird scene and flowers in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Shimmery White Cardstock. Color with a Water Painter and the following Classic Inks: Misty Moonlight, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, Soft Suede, Mossy Meadow, and Petal Pink.
Trim closely with Paper Snips. Adhere together and to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a 1 3/4 x 3/8 piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Cover with white Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Set with a Heat Tool. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
