Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Create Your Own Background. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals are sharing with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

So I decided to create my own background by stamping the image from the Fond of Autumn Stamp Set and coloring it with Watercolor Pencils. I love the rustic look of Crumb Cake and Autumn colors.

Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Soft Suede Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Zip the top side of the card base through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder.
Stamp the large image from the Fond of Autumn Stamp Set onto the top and bottom (flipping it 180 degrees to stamp in opposite directions) of a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock.
Color with the following Watercolor Pencils: Old Olive, Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Crushed Curry, and Cherry Cobbler
Zip it through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside the Timeworn Type 3D Embossing Folder. Distress the edges with a Paper Snips. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie four pieces of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine into a bow. Adhere as shown with a Mini Glue Dot.
Stamp the banner in Crumb Cake Classic Ink and the sentiment in Cajun Craze Classic Ink. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Autumn Bouquet Die. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere to the card base as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish the center of the flowers with Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

More inspiration awaits, so use the lineup below to visit the rest of the Design Team. The Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created!
Please mark your calendars for our next blog hop on August 10th. Our theme will be Seasons’ Greetings, where we will showcase projects inspired by our favorite seasonal time of the year.
Until then, have fun in your craft space!
