Be Inspired Blog Hop – Stampin’ Blends

I kept the cards simple. I wanted to put the focus on the coloring, achieved with Stampin’ Blends. Since the dies of this set are only available through Friday, September 30, I thought I better get to showcasing them before they are gone for good.

Begin by cutting a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.

Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4. Color the bottom portion with Soft Suede Stampin’ Blends (Light and Dark) as shown.

Stamp the first part of the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink as shown. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the piggy and 2nd sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.

Crop the piggy with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Playful Piggy Dies.

Snip the sentiment closely with Paper Snips. Adhere as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

Color the piggy with the following Stampin’ Blend Combo Packs: Light Natural Tones, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Basic Black, Smoky Slate, and Flirty Flamingo. (Various colors were used on the confetti).

Adhere the piggy as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

There are so many extra die-cuts to set a fun birthday scene available in the Playful Piggy Dies, you will want to snag them up before they say goodbye on Friday.
