Colorful Season’s Sneak Peek, Scrapbook Layout = yay! The very first thing that pulled me into the paper crafting world was scrapbooking! I love to look at pictures placed strategically on a page with a story along side it. Our little family recently went on a mini-vacation with some friends. When we arrived at the National Eagle Center in Wabasha, MN, I knew immediately that I was going to be taking lots of pictures and recording them in a scrapbook.
Stampin’ Up! has so many products that work well with scrapbooking! I always felt the toughest thing when shopping for items for scrapbooking, was finding items that coordinated well together. It was a task that you knew would take a long time and once you finally sat down to put the pages together, the colors would be off and you ended up disappointed. With the coordinating products and suites that Stampin’ Up! does so well with offering, I am no longer disappointed with a page; they always match and coordinate perfectly.
I chose these colors for my scrapbook page because I thought they matched well with my son’s clothing and the color of the bald eagles. Early Espresso, Lemon-Lime Twist (an all new in-color for 2017-2019) and Smoky Slate. The Lemon-Lime Twist is so on-trend with the current colors of clothing and home decor; it makes it easy to make a page coordinate and the bright color pops!
Scrapbook Page Details:
- I started with blank sheets of 12×12 Whisper White Cardstock.
- I used the Letters For You Photopolymer Bundle (available as a 10% off bundle until May 31st!) with the all new Lemon-Lime Twist In-Color Cardstock and Smoky Slate Classic Ink to stamp and crop out the EAGLE CENTER page title.
- I used the Number of Years Photopolymer Stamp Set and Large Numbers Framelits Dies for the 2017 Date. This was also done on Lemon-Lime Twist In-Color Cardstock and Smoky Slate Classic Ink.
- The NATIONAL and WABASHA, MN were stamped on Whisper White Cardstock and cut out with Paper Snips. Both types of letters are from the Labeler Alphabet Photopolymer Stamp Set.
- The sneak peek items are the following: Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack: used at the title mat, branches and maple leaves. Colorful Seasons Photopolymer Stamp Set: just breathe sentiment, life is a beautiful thing sentiment, may all your tomorrows be as happy as today sentiment, and the branches at the bottom of the page. Seasonal Layers Thinlits Dies: branches at the top of the page and the maple leaves in the center. Tabs for Everything Photopolymer Stamp Set: small REMEMBER, smile and happy sentiments and the small hearts. I will be purchasing and implementing the coordinating Circle Tab Punch as soon as it becomes available on June 1st.
- I used the current Layering Love Stamp Set for the enjoy the little things sentiment. I have used this set on previous pages as well, I love it!
- Stampin’ Dimensionals are used on all my projects. They are doing a great job popping up the page title and also the photos that have my boys pictured in them.
