Country Club Suite Golf Scrapbook Page

I need to take more time to document out memories!  I will always remember how much Parker loves to golf and how he is a natural at it. His third time on the course and he is outdriving me!  I so wish I had that natural ability! He wanted me to edit out the golf ball on the tee. He was taking a practice swing when I snagged this photo, but he thinks everyone is going to think he swung and missed…just had to get it out there that he nails it, every time!

I knew once I saw this suite in the Stampin’ Up! 2020 Mini Catalog that I had to have it.  I have so many photos from last summer of my boys on the golf course.  I can’t wait to get them into my scrapbook!

The Country Club Suite Bundle includes the following products (Item 153930, $77.75)

* Clubhouse Cling Stamp Set – Item 151583
* Golf Club Dies – Item 151580
* Absolutely Argyle 3D Embossing Folder – Item 151590
* Country Club Designer Series Paper – Item 151314
* Country Club Elements – Item 151315
* Country Club Twine Combo Pack – Item 151318 (currently on backorder)

How are you handling the changes to our way of life right now?  I know my boys are having a hard time adjusting to the Distance Learning for school.  They miss their friends, they miss their teachers, and most of all the miss the day of structure.  I do my best to keep them on task and get their daily school work done, but it is definitely a struggle.   If my small struggle helps to save the lives of those at risk and the health care workers on the front line, then I’m all for it.  I can adapt.

My paper crafting is my getaway.  It keeps my spirits up and keeps me sane.  I hope that my sharing my passion with you may help you find your getaway, your happy place!  Please let me know if there is anything I can do, any questions that I can answer!  I would love to help brighten your time at home in any way that I can.

I love the cute little wood elements that are part of this amazing suite.  They add just the right touch to this scrapbook page.

And my go-to Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots (which will only be around another month or so) is the icing on the cake!

I almost forgot, I also used the amazing bundle called Mountain Air to add even more elements to my page.  The Mountain Air Bundle is currently on LOW INVENTORY, so if it’s on your list, snag it up now or you might have to wait a bit to add it to your paper crafting stash!

Beautiful Day Stamp Set from Stampin' Up! 2018 Occasions Catalog for GDP117 Color Challenge #gdp117 #steshabloodhart #stampinhoot #beautifulday

I haven’t been inspired to design a scrapbook page in ages…which is surprising as I love creating memories of my boys that they can look back on when they are older.  The TGIF Challenge this week just happened to be a sketch that works well for a quick and easy scrapbook page.  I followed the sketch almost to a T, which saved me so much time.  I think this page took me a total of 20 minutes to put together, choosing the picture and all.

Do you love to create memories on pages? If you do, be sure to play along with this week’s challenge! IT DOESN’T HAVE TO BE A SCRAPBOOK PAGE EITHER, just whatever it inspires you to create! You can find more inspiration from the TGIFC Design Team here.

TGIFC251 Scrapbook Page
Scrapbook Page using Stitched Stars Dies by Stampin' Up! Page by Stesha Bloodhart, Stampin' Hoot for #TGIFC251

I used the Stitched Stars Dies to crop a plethora of smaller sizes in coordinating colors.  Granny Apple Green, Smoky Slate, and Night of Navy!

I arranged them as shown and then glued them down, one-by-one with Multi-purpose Liquid Glue.

Added my son Parker’s t-ball photo, adhering with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Then I stamped the sentiment from the Stargazing Stamp Set in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Night of Navy Cardstock that had been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy.  I covered with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flicked to remove the excess, then set it with a Heat Tool.

I trimmed it to size with a Paper Trimmer, then adhered it with Snail Adhesive and a Stampin’ Dimensional.

Be sure to visit the TGIF Challenge Blog to gain oodles of inspiration from the Design Team and others that play along!  Submit your creations and play along with us!

I feel like I am still dreaming!  Being chosen as a member of the 2019 Artisan Design Team is still unreal to me.  I decided to use upcoming products from the 2019 Occasions and Sale-a-Bration Catalogs (Available January 3, 2019) to create a page with photos of my Artisan Gift Box that I received in November at OnStage in Orlando, FL.

The “Thank You So Very Much” sentiment (Butterfly Gala Bundle, shown below) seemed to be perfect for my page for showing gratitude to Stampin’ Up! for giving me this opportunity.  The black & white butterflies on the left were stamped in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Whisper White Cardstock and cropped using the coordinating Butterfly Duet Punch.  I then stitched them to the designer series paper using my We R Stitch Happy Sewing Machine.

The colored butterflies were also cropped with the Butterfly Duet Punch.  The Botanical Butterfly Designer Series Paper, FREE with a $50 Purchase during Sale-a-Bration (also available January 3, 2019) is gorgeous!  Black and White images on one side (the polka dot pattern on my page) and beautifully colored images on the other (the butterflies around my photos).

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop – September 2018

Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop September 2018 Theme Masculine, Layout created by Design Team Member Stesha Bloodhart, Stampin' Hoot! #steshabloodhart #stampinhoot

Welcome to the September Scrapbooking Global Blog Hop. I am part of a talented ground of designers that have a passion for Scrapbooking using Stampin’ Up! products. This month’s theme is Masculine! If you’d like to participate in our monthly challenge and hop, you can join in the fun via our Scrapbooking Global – Stampin’ Up! Facebook Group!

Step-by-Step Instructions:

  1. Start with a piece of 12×12 Festive Farmhouse Designer Series Paper.
  2. Stamp various background images in Gray Granite Ink, keeping to the left and right edges.  I used stamps from the Gallery Grunge, Artisan Texture,  Winter Woods, and Touches of Texture Stamp Sets.
  3. Cut three 6″ strips and three 4″ strips of 3/16″ Braided Linen Trim.  Shred the ends and adhere to the back of the photos (PHOTO SIZES:  Right 3 1/2″ Square, Left 2 1/4″ Square).
  4. Place Chicken Wire Elements, white side up, behind the photos and snip to size.  Adhere to the page with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the page title in Gray Granite onto Glossy White Cardstock using the Lined Alphabet Stamp Set.  Crop with the Big Shot and coordinating dies.  Snip remaining pieces to create individual letters. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  6. Stamp additional title, in Gray Granite, using the Pick a Pennant Stamp Set.

As you can tell, I love, love, love (did I say love?) texture stamps. They add so much to a creation with very little effort.  Pair it with the Chicken Wire Elements (sorry, they were so popular they are currently set to not-orderable status until more product comes in) and you have a recipe for a great artistic creation!

The 3/16″ Braided Linen Thread is currently my favorite embellishment in the ribbon category.  You can leave it beautifully braided or you can separate for an artistic flair.  I sincerely hope it hangs around for a while as it will get its fair share of use in my craft room.

My dad was big into horses for most of his life.  Sparky, shown in the photo, was HIS first horse and they were the best of friends, circa 1964. When I was in the 3rd grade, we moved out to the country and got our first pony named Mud. Our family of horses grew from there as well as my father’s skills with caring for them.  He attended the Oklahoma School of Horseshoeing and became a sought-after farrier to the residents in and around our small town.

My father is who I inherited my artistic talents from.  He loved blacksmithing, woodworking and leather making.  His life was cut short and he left this world at the young age of 59.  I will forever be grateful for the time I had with him.  I have his farrier record book that has both his writing and mine in one place…I spent a summer helping him and it will be a summer that is forever held dear to my heart.

Creating pages showcasing him brings both joy and sorrow.  Sorrow for knowing I will never get to hug him again and joy knowing that he is at peace in heaven and I will always have my memories.

Peaceful Reflection Stamp Set by Stampin' Up! Sneak Peek 2018-2019 Annual Catalog #lakelife scrapbook page by Stesha Bloodhart for #onstage2018 Milwaukee Display Board #steshabloodhart #stampinhoot #stampinup30

Welcome to the Pals April 2018 Blog Hop. Join us while we put “Families First” in our hop this month. The Stampin’ Pretty Pals will inspire you with family-related projects like Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Graduation or Family Vacations. You may be just starting or hopped over from another Pal. In either case, you’ll find the line-up toward the end of my post to help you move along.

Scrapbooking is what got me started in the paper crafting realm.  I love to make a scrapbook layout that reflects back on a memorable moment with my family.  This page shows my husband and son enjoying the view of the lake while dipping their toes in the water, I wish I could see that view every day!
