GDP120 – Case the Designer!

Welcome to another Global Design Post, GDP1120. This week we Case the Designer – Krista Frattin. I love Krista’s style and was excited to case her card. My oldest son, Preston, turned 9 on Friday. I needed a somewhat masculine themed card and I was dying to dive into my new True Gentleman Suite of Products from the 2018 Occasions Catalog! The Truly Tailored Bundle worked well for what I was trying to create.
Card Details:
Card Base: Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock cut to 4 1/4 x 11 in. Scored/Folded at 5 1/2 inches for a standard sized card that fits perfectly in our Medium Sized Envelopes.
2nd Layer: True Gentleman Designer Series Paper, cut to 3 1/2 in. x 4 3/4 in. Adhered to the card base with Fast Fuse.
Embellishments: True Gentleman Buttons, Night of Navy 3/8 in Corduroy Ribbon, Very Vanilla Solid Baker’s Twine
Stamps: Truly Tailored, Number of Years
Ink: Night of Navy, Tranquil Tide
Tools & Adhesive: Stampin’ Trimmer, Starburst Punch, Tailored Tag Punch, Paper Snips, Clear Stamp Blocks C & G, Fast Fuse Adhesive, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Sometimes it is hard to design masculine cards when so many of the products are geared towards feminine audiences. Stampin’ Up! did a fabulous job creating a suite of products that are geared towards the men in our lives. I was so excited when I saw these products in the 2018 Occasions Catalog, I just knew I had to have all of it! 
This birthday card was quick and easy to create! The punches make for swift cropping of elements. The paper snips make it simple to piece apart sentiments for eye-catching layouts. The all-new Night of Navy 3/8 in Corduroy Ribbon and True Gentleman Buttons add the perfect touch for a masculine feel.
