GDP152 CASE: Stitched All Around
Happy Monday Everyone!
The Global Design Project is Casing the Designer this week: the talented Janneke de Jong! I cased the colors and bundle “Stitched All Around”. I am also showcasing an exciting sneak peek of the STUNNING Frosted Floral Designer Series Paper!
Step-by-Step Instructions:
- With a Stampin’ Trimmer, cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″. Score and fold at 4 1/4″.
- Add Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink to the outside edge of the card base using an Aqua Painter. Allow the first layer to dry completely then add a bit more color for some depth.
- Cut a piece of the all-new (available Sept. 5) Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper to 5 1/4″ x 4″. Adhere with Snail Adhesive.
- Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 1/2″ x 3″. Adhere with Snail Adhesive.
- Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 1/4″ x 2 3/4″. Add Gorgeous Grape Classic Ink with an Aqua Painter. Let it dry completely. Squeeze the Aqua Painter so that drops of water fall onto the cardstock. Let sit for a few seconds, then dab with a paper towel. Flick Gorgeous Grape Ink onto the cardstock using the brush end of the Stampin’ Write Marker. Flick Whisper White Ink onto the cardstock (I unscrew a Stampin’ Spritzer filled with Whisper White Ink Refill + water and flick the tube).
- Wrap a piece of Powder Pink 3/8″ Shimmer Ribbon as shown, securing with Snail Adhesive. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Crop a piece of Frosted Floral Specialty Designer Series Paper using a Big Shot and the die from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies. Add Snail Adhesive to the back and adhere several loops of Rose Metallic Thread. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Crop a circle of Shimmery White Cardstock using the 1 3/4″ Circle Punch. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Stamp the Thank You sentiment in Gorgeous Grape onto Vellum Cardstock in. Use a Heat Tool to set the ink. Crop with a Big Shot and the coordinating die from the Stitched Labels Framelits Dies. Add a small strip of Snail Adhesive to the back side and adhere.
