Being at home more often definitely has it benefits. I do get to craft a tad more than I used to, not a ton more, but some and I’ll take it. It allows me to design cards for the design teams that I am on, which is my favorite thing to create. This week’s sketch over at TGIF Challenges is fabulous and I was excited to give it a shot. The Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper is one of my favorites (fingers crossed it won’t retire) and I will continue to use it as long as I can. #tgifc259
Use a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Use the edge die from the Stitched Be Mine Dies, along with a die-cutting and embossing machine, to crop two 5 3/8 long pieces of Whisper White Cardstock.
Adhere to the back of a 3 3/4 x 5 3/8 piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper with Snail Adhesive.
Double wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a bow on the left-hand side.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop the following circles of Shimmery White Cardstock using Stampin’ Up! Circle Punches: 1 3/4″ (Qty 2), 1 1/2″ (Qty 2), and 1 1/4″ (Qty 3).
Lightly apply Petal Pink Ink to each circle using an Aqua Painter. Allow to dry completely.
With a Petal Pink Stampin’ Write Marker, flick spots of ink onto the circles using the cap and the brush tip. Adhere as shown with Snail Adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Paper Snips to snip the birds and flowers from the Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. Adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots and Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flick to remove the excess, and set with a Heat Tool.
Crop with a die-cutting and embossing machine, along with the largest Stitched So Sweetly rectangle die. Trim to 3/4″ tall. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add Pearl Basic Jewels that have been colored with a Dark Petal Pink Stampin’ Blend.
