This past weekend I was able to spend a couple of days with a very small group of friends doing what I love, creating! I didn’t get as much done as I was hoping, but we had so many great laughs and good conversations.
This card represents a close friend of our family. He loves camouflage and whiskey so I decided to create a card that brought the two together. He just purchased a second house close to his family and I wanted send my congratulations.
Use a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the Camouflage Stamp in Mossy Meadow Ink onto a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock and a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock. Cut each piece to 3 3/4 x 5. Crinkle each into a ball. Straighten back out and adhere together at an angle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Double wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a bow. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock using the largest Stitched Shapes Circle Die. Cut 1/4″ off to create a straight edge. Crinkle, then straighten and adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp two glasses and the decanter in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock. Color with Cinnamon Cider, Soft Suede, So Saffron, Smoky Slate, and Seaside Spray Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends. Use a Color Lifter to lighten color where needed.
Snip with Paper Snips. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the “Cheers to You” sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Tap to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool. Trim to 1/4 x 2 1/2. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Seal and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
