TGIF! Time for a Designer Takeover!…and that designer just happens to be me!
I am taking over TGIFC with #madforplaid! Mad for Plaid? You got it! Play along using anything plaid! DSP, Stamps, or Create Your Own Plaid.
My favorite plaid just happens to be the Buffalo Check Background Stamp! I have used it on so many creations….and if you only could see my closet and house, #madforplaid has taken over here too!
Begin by using a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the Buffalo Check background stamp in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a 3 5/8 x 5 1/4 piece of Pretty Peacock Cardstock.
Distress the edges with a Bone Folder (if desired). Adhere to a 3 7/8 x 5 3/8 piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock layered on a 3 15/16 x 5 7/16 of Pretty Peacock with Stampin’ Seal.
Staple the two corners as shown. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock to 5 x 1 3/4. Zip through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside a Subtle 3D Embossing Folder.
Crop two strips of Basic Black Cardstock with the Stitched Be Mine Edge Die. Adhere to the Cherry Cobbler Strip with Snail Adhesive.
Double wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a bow.
Lay onto the card at an angle, cut the ends with Paper Snips. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop a piece of Basic Black Cardstock that has been embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder with the Many Hearts die. Distress with a Bone Folder. Adhere with Stampin’ Seal.
Stamp the You, Forever & sentiments in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto Vellum Cardstock. Adhere to Crumb Cake Cardstock. Crop with a Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Always Dies.
Adhere a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to a Foam Adhesive Sheet. Crop with the lower layer Love and Always dies.
Adhere a piece of Vellum Cardstock and a piece of Basic Black Cardstock to an Adhesive sheet. Crop with the Always Dies. Adhere together and to the card, as shown.
Crop a piece of Cherry Cobbler Cardstock with the Many Hearts Dies. Adhere the three hearts as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
