TGIF! It’s Time for a Sketch Challenge!
Today, the TGIF Challenges Design Team is showcasing projects using the fabulous sketch shown below! To me, this sketch was made to represent the Stampin’ Up! Well Suited Suite Collection from the 2021 January – June Mini Catalog.
Use a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 5 1/2 x 8 1/2. Score and fold at 2 1/8 and 6 3/8.
Create a 9 1/2 x 2 bellyband of Well Suited Designer Series Paper. Lay the card in the center of the bellyband and wrap it around the card, leaving some room to allow it to slide on and off. Adhere the belly band ends together at the front of the card. (where it will be covered).
Double wrap with Basic Gray Baker’s Twine, securing on the right with a bow.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop a piece of Basic Gray Cardstock with the 3 3/8 x 4 3/4 Stitched Rectangle Die. Adhere to the bellyband as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Well Suited Designer Series Paper to 3 1/8 x 4 1/2. Distress the edges with a Bone Folder. Adhere with Stampin’ DImensionals.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the sentiment and bowtie in Basic Gray Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Crop with the 1 5/8 and 2 1/8 Layering Circles Dies. Adhere to 1 7/8 and 2 3/8 Stitched Shapes Circle die-cuts of Basic Gray Cardstock with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the bowtie again in Basic Gray Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. Crop with the coordinating Suit & Tie Dies. Color with Light and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin’ Blends. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto Basic Gray Cardstock. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, set with a Heat Tool. Crop with the Classic Label Punch. Snip the ends off with Paper Snips. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with three Silver Metallic Pearls as shown.
