Today, the TGIF Challenges Design Team is showcasing projects based on Designer Charlet Mallett’s pick: Oh My Ombré. Charlet Mallett is an amazing artist that I look up to. She was one of the very first influencers I stalked when I rejoined Stampin’ Up! in 2016! Be sure to give Charlet some love and play along!
Use a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4.
Use Blending Brushes to create an ombré background of the following colors (top to bottom): Pale Papaya, Soft Succulent, and Evening Evergreen.
Use a Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss to crop Basic Black Cardstock, that has been adhered to an Adhesive Sheet, with the Meadow dies.
Adhere to the card as shown.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.
Crop with a Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Meadow die.
Thread Black Baker’s Twine through and behind the sentiment label, and around the ombre background, securing with a bow.
Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Matte Black Dots.
