Be Inspired Blog Hop: Happy Holidays

Be Inspired Design Team Blog Hop Header

Welcome to the Be Inspired Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is….Happy Holidays!

I love creating a beautiful background with Blending Brushes.  For this card I used Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink, then stamped over it with the Festive Foliage Stamp Set.  The sentiment was die-cut and stamped with the help of the Words of Cheer Bundle.

Begin with a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock. Score and fold at 4 1/4.

Cut a piece of Basic White Cardstock to 5 1/4 x 4.  Use a Blending Brush to add Cherry Cobbler Ink by working from the outer edges to the inside.  Allow to dry or set with a Heat Tool.

Use a Stamparatus to stamp the Festive Foliage in Versamark Ink onto the blended cardstock piece.  Cover with White Basics Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.  Distress the edges with a Paper Snips or Bone Folder.  Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Mini or Standard) to crop the “happy” in Cherry Cobbler and Basic White Cardstock.  Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.  Adhere to the card with snipped-to-size Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock.  Cover with White Basics Embossing Powder. Snip to size with Paper Snips. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Adhere a variety of Subtle Shimmer Sequins to the card as shown with a Fine-Tip Glue Pen.

Adhere Black Classic Matte Dots (available January 4, 2022).

A TIP FOR YOU!  I love adding Shimmer Sequins to my projects, but the Fine-Tip Glue Pen will make the ink bleed, so use it sparingly.
