I created this card a couple months ago for the Stampin’ Fancy Friday Color Challenge of Old Olive, Real Red, and Coastal Cabana. I have been meaning to get it up on my blog and thought I should do so quick before the Words of Cheer Stamp Set and Christmas Cheer Dies retire on January 3, 2022!
This has been shared on my Instagram Page, so it might look familiar to you. 🙂 I thought it was a good card to share as it says what I want to say to all of you! “HAPPY CHRISTMAS FROM MY HOME TO YOURS!” My family was hit by a cold bug that I thought I had managed to escape, but last Friday when I went to bed, I could tell I wasn’t feeling quite right. I have pretty much been in bed since. Yesterday was better, but by evening I was pretty wiped out. All tests are negative, so just viral.

Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Cut to pieces of Real Red Cardstock to 2 x 4 1/4, 1 3/4 x 4 1/2. Adhere to the card base as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add a Coastal Cabana Watercolor Wash to a 4 x 5 piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper with a Water Painter. After fully dried, splatter with Versamark Ink that has been thinned slightly with water. Cover with White Basic Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool. Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Stamparatus to stamp the floral image in Jet Black Stazon Ink onto a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper. Color with a Water Painter and the following Classic Inks: Real Red, Old Olive. Crop with the coordinating Christmas Cheer dies and a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Cover with White Basic Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool. Adhere to card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Cut to size with Paper Snips Scissors. Adhere with snipped-to-size Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Matte Black Dots and Subtle Shimmer Sequins (Adhered with a Fine-Tip Glue Pen).
