Global Design Project #338 – it’s time for a sketch challenge! What more fun than a SLIMLINE Card Sketch! I just got my Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Pre-Order before heading to a 4-day craft retreat with friends and I had so much fun playing with my NEW STUFF! This card showcases one of my favorite NEW Suites (available May 3, 2022): Hues of Happiness! My card concentrates on the GORGEOUS Designer Series Paper that was cropped with coordinating dies and snipped with Paper Snips. LOVE BUTTON!
Begin by cutting a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 8 1/2 x 8. Score and fold at 4.
Zip a 8 1/2 x 3 1/2 piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine along with the Blossoming Happiness edge die. NOTE: You will need to run it through 4 times in order to crop the length of the slimline card.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Adhere a 8 1/2 x 3 piece of Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Crop the floral and leaf images from the Hues of Happiness Designer Series Paper with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Blossoming Happiness Dies. Snip the remaining flowers with Paper Snips. Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Crop a piece of Basic White Cardstock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the largest stitched circle from the Stylish Shapes dies. Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a 1″ piece from the circle. Adhere as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo Classic Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock. Snip apart with Paper Snips. Adhere as shown with snipped-to-size Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Polished Dots.
