My card base is a 7 x 8 1/2 piece of Basic White Thick Cardstok scored at 3 1/2 on the 7 side.

I layered a 2 7/8 x 7 7/8 piece of Basic White Cardstock onto a 3 x 8 piece of Pool Party Cardstock, adhered together and to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

I stamped the hippos in Tuxedo Black Memento onto Basic White Cardstock (not thick). I colored them with Light Basic Black, Dark and Light Smoky Slate, Light Crumb Cake, Dark and Light Calypso Coral and Light Mossy Meadow.

I cropped them with the coordinating Hippos Dies and adhere them as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.

To add a perfect touch, I cropped a small piece of Window Sheet to use behind the swim goggles so they looked more geniune…fun, fun ! 

I cropped all accessories in Basic White Cardstock using the Hippos Dies and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I colored them with the same Stampin’ Blends as the Hippos, I just added Light and Dark Soft Suede for the boat and Light and Dark Pool Party for the water and umbrella.

All the adorable little die-cut accessories paired with the pun-fun sentiments brings a big smile to my face.
