I have been eyeing up that humming bird from the Thoughtful Expressions Bundle for quite some time. I finally have a few extra hours (if I just ignored the laundry) to sit down and color/create this card.
I cannot believe that Sale-a-Bration ends in 4 days (Feb. 29) and that this is only the 2nd card I have been able to make since Sale-a-Bration started back in January. My previous creation is shown below and can be seen here.
The Sunny Days Designer Series Paper is chocked full of so many wonderful colors and designs! Only a couple days left to earn it FREE with a $50 purchase…and who doesn’t love FREE?
Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Layer and adhere a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Sunny Days Designer Series Paper to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic White Cardstock together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Adhere a 1 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic Black Cardstock as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Layer and adhere a 2 1/2 x 4 piece of Sunny Days Designer Series Paper to a 2 3/4 x 4 1/4 piece of Basic White Cardstock together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Double wrap all layers with Basic Black Baker’s Twine Essentials, securing with a bow as shown. TIP: Use a glue dot to hold the bow in place.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Use a Clear Block C to stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock.
Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the 2 3/8 x 1 1/8 Thoughtful Expressions die.
Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Black Classic Matte Dots.
