The Winterly Tree Tops Bundle is a must-have for all your Christmas and winter-themed crafting projects! Delight your loved ones with charming bird designs and elegant winter sprig accents. Layer the sprig border behind one or two birds, and pair it with a heartfelt sentiment to create a beautiful card for Christmas, a thoughtful thank-you, or a “thinking of you” message.

card tutorial: winterly tree tops thinking of you card

  1. Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Basic White Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2 (portrait style card).
  2. Zip a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Basic White Cardstock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard) tucked inside the Stampin’ Up! Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  3. Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop a piece of Basic White Cardstock with the Spotlight on Nature 2 3/4 Circle Die. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  4. Crop a piece of Basic White Cardstock with the 2 3/8 Circle Punch. Adhere to the die-cut circle with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  5. Stamp the birds image in Tuxdeo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock.
  6. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the coordinating Winterly Treetops die.
  7. Color with the following Stampin’ Up! Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs: Night of Navy, Boho Blue, Cajun Craze, Cherry Cobbler, and Pebbled Path. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  8. Rub a piece of Basic Black Cardstock with an Embossing Buddy. Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink. Cover with white Basics WOW! Embossing Powder. Tap to remove the excess. Set with a Heat Tool.
  9. Snip closely with Paper Snips. Adhere with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  10. Embellish with Pearl Adhesive-Backed Berries.

  1. I just ordered the embossing folder for that project! I also made two of your cards using your tutorial for Artful Amaryllis. I wasn’t going to get that set, but after seeing your card I just had to get it! And the good news after being sick for 9 months we found out what was wrong. I will be limited on what I do, but its a lung disease and not cancer. I will know what has to be done on January 3rd. Thanks for your inspiration!
