Ready to be wow’d by the Daisy Delight Bundle?
You will see excitement all around the Stampin’ Up! community, as we are all head over heels about the new 2017-2018 catalog that is set to be released on June 1st! Being a demonstrator who attended the 2017 On-Stage in Minneapolis in April, I was privy to a premier pre-order of certain items from the catalog! I didn’t get much but I did get a couple things so that I could share them with you and share the excitement the new catalog has to offer. By the looks of the cover (which is the only picture of the catalog I can share with you at this time) you can see that it is on trend with bright colors and watercolor images. Ready for a sneak peek?
I am sharing with you a glimpse of the Delightful Daisy Suite. Who doesn’t love daisies? I sure do!
The suite is made up of a daisy punch, double-stitched ribbon, faceted gems in clear and gold, designer series paper (DSP), a pack of coordinating cardstock and the Daisy Delight photopolymer stamp set. Ready to see the card I created?
Card details:
- Card base is Thick Whisper White Cardstock cut to 4.25 in x 11in and scored/folded at 5.5 in.
- A piece of Whisper White Cardstock was cut to 4 in x 5.25 in and adhered to the card base with Dimensionals to give it a pop off the card..I love white on white! A lot of my cards will be made with white cardstock, I can’t help it 🙂
- The strip of brown behind the ribbon is a piece of DSP from the New Wood Textures DSP Stack also available June 1st. (This is another favorite of mine that will get a lot of use in my creations). It was cut to 1 in x 4 in and adhered to the card with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
- The ribbon that is adhered to the top of the Wood Texture DSP is the 5/8″ Burlap (available now) and the 1/4″ Copper Trim is layered over the burlap. The 1/4″ Copper Trim (available June 1st) is already one of my all time favorite ribbons! It is so easy to work with and extremely versatile in its uses. It is a must have in my book!
- The daisy was stamped 4 times on Whisper White Cardstock. Twice with Crushed Curry Ink and twice with Early Espresso Ink. I then used the coordinating daisy punch to pop each one out quickly with extreme precision! I then glued the four together alternating the petals to give it some depth. I added a Gold Faceted Gem to the middle of the daisy, the perfect embellishment, don’t you think?
- The Thank You for Your Kindness sentiments are both from the Daisy Delight Stamp Set and pair well together. It was stamped on a piece and Whisper White Cardstock (I think I already told you that it is my favorite) and the flag end was created with the Banner Triple Punch. The dotted background stamped in Crushed Curry and Early Espresso is also from this versatile stamp set.
Don’t you love that new Faceted Gem Embellishment? When I was first presented with them at OnStage, I wasn’t sure about them…my thought was maybe a little too gaudy… but now…I LOVE THEM! Especially with the daisy. I bet I can find more flowers in the catalog that they will pair well with too!
Starting June 1st, when the new annual catalog goes live, you can order the items pictured above. The Daisy Punch and Daisy Delight Stamp Set can be purchased together as a bundle. The Gold Faceted Gems are a part of the suite and are sold separately. What do you think? Are you liking what you see?
Be sure to also check out the retiring items from the 2017 Occasions and 2016-2017 Annual Catalog. Items always sell out fast so if there is something you had your heart set on, jump on it! Let me know if you have any questions on products. I am more than happy to answer them.
Have a hoot-a-riffic day!
