TGIF! It’s Time to be Inspired!
Welcome to a TGIF Color Challenge! I haven’t have time to participate in my design team challenges in quite some time. I just returned from a 10 day vacation with my husband and two boys. We had a blast in Florida! Hitting Louisville Slugger on the way down, Sea World and Aquatica in Florida and Georgia Aquarium on our way home. All sites were amazing and a great way to spend time as a family.
Step-by-Step Tutorial:
With a Stampin’ Trimmer, cut a piece of Bermuda Bay Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4. Stamp the sun in the upper left corner using Jet Black Stázon Ink. Color with an Aqua Painter and Mango Melody Classic Ink.
Stamp the pocket, tag, $ bill, sunglasses and sentiments in Jet Black Stázon. Crop the images with the Big Shot, Magnetic Platform, & coordinating Packet Framelits Dies. Cut the sentiment with a Paper Snips.
Color the images with an Aqua Painter and the following classic ink colors: Sunglasses & Tag – Mango Melody, Pocket – Bermuda Bay, $ Bill – Granny Apple Green. Adhere with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, Stampin’ Dimensionals & Mini Glue Dots.
This was a quick and easy card with a bit of coloring, but makes a statement. I hadn’t yet used this set and since we just returned from sunny Florida, I was drawn to it. Fun, fun!
The Pocket Framelits Dies surprised me! I had no idea that the pocket die created the flaps needed to make the pocket pop up off the page, to make it easy to fill it with the essentials. The $ bill slides in with ease and is held in place with a doubled up Stampin’ Dimensional.
