Fable Friends Stamp Set! Such a cute collection of critters that are fun and easy to color.
As part of the Stampin’ Up! 2019 Artisan Design Team, we are asked (and honored) to supply a tip to fellow stampers that is shared on Instagram by @stampinup. My first tip was published back in February and I shared how you can use punches to create notches to hold twine and thread. You can see that post here.
Cut a piece of Whisper White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11″. Score and fold at 5 1/2″.
Cut a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock to 4 1/8 x 5 3/8″. Adhere to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock to 4 x 5 1/4″. Adhere with Snail Adhesive.
Cut a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock to 3 x 4 1/2″. Smooch with Coastal Cabana Classic Ink. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
SMOOCHING INSTRUCTIONS: Cut a Window Sheet down to 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 or similar size. Take the edge of a Classic Ink Pad and press it onto the Window Sheet multiple times, criss-crossing the edge to get decent ink coverage. Use a Stampin’ Spritzer to apply three pumps of water onto the Classic Ink on the Window Sheet. Carefully flip it over and gently apply to the piece of Shimmery White Cardstock (NOTE: You must use Shimmery White to get the effects shown). Pick it up off the Shimmery White and apply it again (in a different area) until the desired coverage is
obtained. Set aside and let dry completely.
Use the Daisy Punch to crop two daisies of Vellum Cardstock. Adhere together (alternating petals) and to the smooched cardstock with Mini Glue Dots.
Cut a piece of Coastal Cabana Cardstock to 5/8″ x 3 1/2″. Rub with an Embossing Buddy. Stamp the sentiment (Fable Friends) in Versamark Ink. Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder. Flick to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the squirrel image (Fable Friends Stamp Set) in Jet Black Stāzon Ink onto Shimmery White Cardstock. Color with an Aqua Painter and the following Classic Inks: Soft Suede (squirrel and daisy center), Coastal Cabana (sailor jacket), Old Olive (daisy leaf/stem), Crushed Curry (daisy petals). Snip with a Paper Snips and adhere to the strip of Coastal Cabana with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Add three Gingham Gala Adhesive-Backed Sequins as shown.

Love this idea Stesha! I couldn’t understand why you cut daisies as I couldn’t’ see them. Then I got a closer look, LOL. Great card.
