Hi Everyone!  Today I am sharing with you two creations with one of my favorite stamp sets from the 2019-2020 Annual catalog. I love coloring birds with a variety of coloring mediums.  The two creations below used the new Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper (item 149612), which is heavenly to color and fussy cut!

I decided to stick with a Crumb Cake palette and opted to use the new Pressed Petals Journal (item 149588) and the returning Kraft Pillow Boxes (item 147018) as my canvas.  Petal Pink pairs perfectly with Crumb Cake, and the new Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper (item 149592) just so happens to have a Petal Pink design that was befitting.

My Kraft Pillow Box was wrapped with a 2 x 6 ¾” piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper, adhered together with Tear & Tape Adhesive (item 138995).  I then wrapped two pieces of Very Vanilla 3/8” Scalloped Lace Trim (item 149593), facing opposite directions, and secured in place with Mini Glue Dots (item 103683). Using a Stamparatus (item 146276), I stamped all images from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set (item 149468) in Jet Black Stazōn Ink (item 101406) onto a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper.  TIP: Using the Stamparatus allows you to stamp the image multiple times (I stamped them twice) until the desired ink coverage is obtained.

I used an Aqua Painter (item 103954) and the following Classic Ink Stampin’ Pads to add color to the images:  Crumb Cake (item 147116), Early Espresso (item 147114), Pear Pizzazz (item 147104), Mossy Meadow (item 147111), Coastal Cabana (item 147097), Mango Melody (item 147093), and Calypso Coral (item 147101).  After coloring each image and allowing them to dry completely, I think snipped the images with a Paper Snips (item 103579).  I assembled and adhered them as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals (item 104430) and Mini Glue Dots.

I rubbed a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock (item 119686) with an Embossing Buddy (item 103083), then used a Clear Block A (item 118487) to stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink (item 102283).  I then covered it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder (item 109132), flicked the cardstock to remove the excess and set it with a Heat Tool (item 129053).  I snipped it with a Paper Snips and adhere with a snipped-to-size Mini Stampin’ Dimensional (item 144108).

I then added several Gold Metallic Pearls (item 146282) to flower centers and two Bird Ballad Trinkets (item 149594) as a final touch.

My Pressed Petals Journal was adorned with so many fabulous products. First, I adhered a 3 x 5 ¼” piece of Early Espresso Cardstock to the back of a 4 x 5” Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper with Snail Adhesive. I then wrapped it with two pieces of Very Vanilla 3/8” Scalloped Lace Trim (facing opposite directions) and secured in place with Mini Glue Dots.  This adhered to the Pressed Petals Journal with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cut a piece of Fluid 100 Watercolor Paper to 3 x 4” and adhered it to a 3 1/8” x 4 1/8” piece of Early Espresso Cardstock.  I added watercolor wash background using an Aqua Painter and Coastal Cabana Classic Ink.  After allowing it to dry completely, I wrapped two loops of Linen Thread on the right-hand side, securing it with a bow. I then adhered it to the journal with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I cropped a piece of Vellum Cardstock (item 101856) using a die-cutting machine and the 3 ¼” wide Stitched Nested Labels Die (item 149638). I adhered it with Stampin’ Dimensionals, strategically placed so they remained hidden behind the birds. I stamped, colored and snipped the images the same as I did with the Kraft Pillow Box (above).

I rubbed a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock with an Embossing Buddy, then used a Clear Block G (item 118489) to stamp the “Enjoy Today” sentiment from the Good Morning Magnolia Cling Stamp Set (item 149298) in Versamark Ink.  I then covered it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flicked the cardstock to remove the excess and set it with a Heat Tool.  I snipped it with a Paper Snips and adhered with Snail Adhesive.

Again, I added several Gold Metallic Pearls to flower centers and three Bird Ballad Trinkets as a final touch.
