I was excited about this month’s blog hop theme as I wanted to have an excuse to create another project using the Gnome for the Holidays Stamp Set! I chose my color palette based on the colors in the Plaid Tidings Designer Series Paper (which just happens to be on sale for $9.78 through October 31, 2020!).
Mini Pizza Boxes seem to be my go-to for 3D items as they are quick and easy to decorate. Anything that is a time-saver these days is a must for me. Time is currently my most valuable asset and I need to use it sparingly.
Assemble a Mini Pizza Box.
Cut the following pieces of Plaid Tidings 6×6 Designer Series Paper with a Paper Trimmer
- Qty 2 – 3 1/4 Squares,
- Qty 4 – 3/4 x 3 1/4 Strips
Adhere to the Mini Pizza Box with Stampin’ Seal+ Adhesive.
Wrap the Mini Pizza Box with a 1 1/4 x 11 piece of Whisper White Cardstock, adhering at the top with Stampin’ Seal+.
Wrap again with Whisper White 1/2″ Faux Linen Ribbon and Linen Thread that has been colored with a Dark Mossy Meadow Stampin’ Blends.
Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine to crop a piece of Whisper White Cardstock with the largest Stitched Shapes square die.
Staple two pieces of ribbon to the top left corner. Adhere a bow of Linen Thread (colored with a Mossy Meadow Dark Stampin’ Blend.
Adhere to the belly band with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the gnome and tree in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Whisper White Cardstock.
Snip with Paper Snips.
Color with the following Stampin’ Blend Combo Packs:
- Pretty Peacock
- Pool Party
- Mossy Meadow
- Soft Suede
- Mango Melody
- Real Red
- Shaded Spruce
- Smoky Slate
- Bronze/Ivory
- Color Lifter
Adhere to the stitched square with Stampin’ Dimensionals. TIP: Double them up under the gnome for twice the pop!
Stamp the sentiment in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. Trim to 5/8 x 1 3/4. Adhere with Dimensionals.
Add Pool Party Rhinestone Basic Jewels and Rhinestone Basic Jewels that have been colored with a Dark Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Blend.
