#tgifc291 Thankful Theme – Stampin’ Up! Sunflowers

SNEAK PEEK! Blending Brushes from Stampin' Up! Card by Stesha Bloodhart, TGIFC291 thankful

TGIF! It’s Time for an Inspiration Challenge.

Welcome to another TGIF Challenge, this week it’s time for an Inspiration challenge!  The inspiration is THANKFUL!

The theme graphic inspired me to take out the Celebrate Sunflowers Bundle and give it some love.  I received my NEW Blending Brushes (Available in the upcoming Mini Catalog, starting January 5, 2021) and thought it was the perfect time to give them a try.  I absolutely LOVE the result!  Flawless blended color that was super easy to achieve.

Begin by using a Stampin’ Up! Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11.  Score and fold at 5 1/2.

Distress the edges of a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Early Espresso Cardstock.

Zip a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside the Old World Paper 3D Embossing Folder. Distress the edges (a Bone Folder works great).

Adhere the two pieces together, then wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a bow.

Use Blending Brushes to add the following colors to a piece of Shimmery White Cardstock: Bumblebee, Cinnamon Cider, and Cajun Craze.

Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, along with the Sunflower Dies to crop the blended paper and a piece of Early Espresso as shown.

Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and a Stamping Sponge.

Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto a 5/8 x 3 piece of Early Espresso Cardstock.  Cover with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, then set with a Heat Tool.

Adhere to the card as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
