Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month, the theme is Focus on the Sentiment. Our Design Team are showcasing a sentiment as the focal point of their project. We really hope that you will be inspired by all the amazing creations the Pals share with you! As you hop from blog to blog, we would love for you to leave a comment. You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

When I think about focusing on the sentiment, I immediately search the catalog for big, bold sentiments that have great meaning to me. The stamp set that I chose for the sentiment focus is Stepping Stones | 159036 | $22.00. I love every quote that is brought to life with this set. Snag it tomorrow for a 15% savings during the 24-Hour Stamp Sale!

I paired the sentiment with the group of cute (?) characters from the All Bundled Up Stamp Set | 159824 | $23.00, which is part of the 2022 July – December Mini Catalog (Holiday). The images were so fun to color with Stampin’ Blends…it definitely fulfilled my much needed craft therapy session.

Begin with a 8 1/2 x 7 piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock. Score and fold at 3 1/2.
Use a Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock to 8 x 3.
Add Soft Suede Classic Ink to the outside edge of the card layer with a Blending Brush.
Rub the left side of the layer with an Embossing Buddy (part of the Embossing Additions Tool Kit).
Position and stamp the sentiment in Versamark Ink onto the card layer. Cover with White Basics Embossing Powder. Set with a Heat Tool.
Staple a piece of Early Espresso 1/4″ Faux Suede Trim and a bow of Crumb Cake Baker’s Twine (Essentials Pack) to the upper left corner as shown.
Stamp the images (All Bundled Up Stamp Set) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. Snip out closely with Paper Snips. Color with the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs:
- Bird: Starry Sky, Cajun Craze, Daffodil Delight
- Raccoon: Shaded Spruce, Smoky Slate, Crumb Cake (light), Basic Black, Color Lifter
- Moose: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Basic Black (light), Real Red, Smoky Slate
- Bunny: Smoky Slate, Basic Black (light), Real Red, Tahitian Tide, Petal Pink (light).
I added highlights with a Uni-Ball Signo White Gel Pen (retired).
Embellish with Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.

Beautiful coloring on such a fun card!
Thank you, Windy!
Stesha, I subscribe to your newsletter and follow your blog regularly. You are so absolutely creative in putting images together for unique cards. What a gift.
Love how these darling critters accompany this important and beautiful sentiment – the coloring is SO pretty!!
Thank you, Mary!
Absolutely adorable Stesha!! Phenomenal job on coloring those cute little critters!!
Thanks, Melissa!
Stesha, your fussy cut characters are too cute! Great sentiment for them!
Thank you, Su!
Love this Stesha! Coloring is impeccable and the background….. it looks like suede. Truly a masterpiece!
Thank you, Rae!
What a fantastic slimline card, Stesha! I can tell it was a “labor of love” but so worth it! Thank you for joining the blog hop this month!
Steshe, you’ve given these critters a very happy stage! I overlooked this stamp set in the catty. A perfect assortment to focus on the sentiment. Great card.
Although this card includes ink blending, embossing powders and alcohol marker coloring techniques, what really stands out is the Die-Cut Placement. For those who struggle with how to focalize images, this project is an excellent resource. A full scale background scenery is not needed to create an effective backdrop for animal themes.
TSM for a great tutorial; I’ve shared it with my Papercraft Medley Facebook Group!
When the idea of sentiment is brought to stepping stones, things change quite a bit. But, I think sentiment goes on to add another dimension.
