This weekend I am at a craft retreat in Siren, WI! I finally got a chance to play with a couple of my new goodies from the upcoming Stampin’ Up! 2023-2024 Annual Catalog that goes live on May 2.
The Cheerful Daisies Bundle is part of the Fresh as a Daisy Suite (both shown below) which is loaded with oodles of NEW COLORS!
Begin by cutting a piece of Basic White Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 for your card base.
Cut the following pieces of cardstock:
- Daffodil Delight – 4 x 3 1/4
- Pecan Pie – 3 1/2 x 2 3/4
- Pumpkin Pie – 3 1/2 x 2 3/4
- Basic White – 3 1/2 x 4 3/4
Optional – Distress the edges of all pieces of cardstock with a distressing tool, bone folder, or scissors.
Adhere the three colored pieces together and to the card base as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Use a Blending Brush to add Daffodil Delight ink to the Basic White layer.
Triple wrap with Linen Thread, securing with a knot.
Adhere as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Tie a triple bow of Linen Thread as shown. Adhere with a Mini Glue Dot.
Stamp the Daisy, Daisy Center, Daisy Stem, and Daisy Leaves (Cheerful Daisies) in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Basic White Cardstock.
Crop with the coordinating Cheerful Daisies dies.
Color with the following Stampin’ Blends Combos: Lemon Lolly, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Pecan Pie, and Mossy Meadow.
Stamp the sentiment in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a Basic White layer. Snip to size with Paper Snips. Distress the edges as desired. Adhere with strategically placed Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Embellish with Rustic Metallic Adhesive-Backed Dots.
