3 Days of Eastern Palace Inspiration – Day 1 Thank You!

Welcome to 3 Days of Inspiration using the Eastern Palace Suite, available as a special early release from the Stampin’ Up! 2017-2018 Annual Catalog.  I have fallen in love with this Suite of products.  The colors are fabulous, the gold is beautiful, the stamps are magnificent and the dies are so very versatile.  This will be a staple in my collection to create quick and easy cards that are sure to wow the recipient. The picture below shows a nice view of the items that are part of the Eastern Palace Suite.

For Day 1, I am featuring a quick and simple Thank You Card.

The Card Details are as follows:

• Card Base is Dapper Denim Cardstock cut to 4.25 in x 11 in and scored / folded at 5.5 in to create a standard A2 sized card that fits beautifully in the Very Vanilla Medium Envelopes (included as a Free Item in the Premier Bundle).
• I placed these dies  (the right nestled inside the left) on the bottom right corner of the card base and zipped it through the Big Shot.  I then placed a piece of Designer Series Paper behind the negative space left from the die cut.
• I cut a piece of the Lemon-Lime Twist Designer Series Paper to a 1 in x 4.5 in strip.  I then took just the bottom 1/2 in of it and punched out the flagged end using only the bottom of the Best Badge Punch.
• I ran another piece of Lemon-Lime Twist DSP through the Big Shot with the die on the right (above) and adhered it to the piece cropped out of the card base. I also used circle dies to cut the two pieces adhered to the top. I stamped the Thank You sentiment on the Very Vanilla Circle using Lemon-Lime Twist Classic In-Color Ink.
• The card was finished off with Gold Vinyl Stickers, Gold Metallic Shapes and Very Vanilla Satin Ribbon.
