Fresh Fig and The Stunning Eastern Beauty Bundle!
Today’s stunning ‘To Think of You is to Smile Card’ is another example of how incredibly versatile the Stampin’ Up! Eastern Palace Product Suite really is! Two bundles, shown in detail below, have been released by Stampin’ Up! early, prior to the debut in the 2017-2018 Annual Catalog on June 1st. Both bundles come with a FREE item! It’s a whole-lotta bang for your buck!
The Gold Vinyl Stickers (included in both bundles) are very high quality and easily add eye catching elements to your card. Use them on your envelopes to add flair and coordination to your creation. The two bundles come with 3 of the New 2017-2019 In-Colors! I selected a sheet of Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper that show off Fresh Fig and Tranquil Tide (two of the new colors). Lemon-Lime Twist, a bright pop of color that stands out on any creation, is the 3rd in-color included in the bundles. Card Details:
- The base of the card is Fresh Fig Cardstock cut to 4.25 in x 11 in and scored / folded at 5.5 in.
- A piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock was cut to 3.125 in x 5.5 in and adhered to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The piece of Eastern Palace Specialty Designer Series Paper was carefully cut to 2.875 x 5.5 in to show two rows of full designs within the DSP. It was adhered to the Very Vanilla Cardstock with Fast Fuse Adhesive.
- I used a circle from the Layering Circle Framelits to crop a piece of Fresh Fig Cardstock to place behind the beautiful medallion created with the largest framelit from the Eastern Medallions Thinlits Dies. The outside circle left by the die-cut was snipped off to create a look to match the DSP design. Both pieces were adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- The Best Badge Punch was used to create the “flag” piece of Tranquil Tide that pops out from behind the focal image. I think the punch makes flags that coordinate well with the Eastern Palace Suite. I added a gold sticker to made the flag stand out more. As with most of my cards, this element was adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, my go-to adhesive.
- I used 12 inches of Very Vanilla 1/4″ Satin Ribbon (retiring and marked down 40%) to wrap back and forth behind the focal element. Tip: Add the adhesive to the element first and then apply your ribbon. It holds it in place for you and allows you to easily manipulate it to your liking.
- I used Tranquil Tide Classic Ink to stamp the circle image and the sentiment. Both are from the Eastern Beauty Stamp Set included in both bundles. A Gold Vinyl Stickers behind the sentiment and added vertically to the sides of the DSP finish off the card.
- I also added the same stickers and a strip of DSP to the envelope, perfect coordination and a great way to give the envelope some flair.
