Scrapbook Sunday : Painted Autumn DSP Sneak Peek
Welcome to Scrapbook Sunday! Today is the last day of my paper craft retreat and I am sharing with you a page that I created while here. It is made with the new Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper that is in the 2017 Holiday Catalog set to release on September 1st. The pumpkins are all fussy cut (gasp)…but it was relaxing and so worth it!
The base is a piece of Early Espresso 12×12 Cardstock from the Best of Neutrals Cardstock Pack. I then took a full sheet of Shimmery White Cardstock and added Early Espresso and Soft Sky Classic Ink with an Aqua Painter to create a soft background. I used my go-to Letters for You Stamp Set and coordinating Large Letters Framelits Dies to create the PUMPKIN heading. The ‘patch pick’ was stamped with the Brushwork Alphabet Stamp Set and fussy cut with the Paper Snips. Both headings were stamped with Pumpkin Pie Classic Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals (regular and mini).
The pumpkins came from the Painted Autumn DSP and were fussy cut with Paper Snips, grouped together to form a patch and adhered with Fast Fuse and Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves in this section were stamped on Very Vanilla Cardstock with Garden Green Classic Ink and then quickly cropped out with the coordinating Leaf Punch. (Painted Autumn DSP and the Painted Harvest Bundle will be available to order on September 1st, 2017).
The side border is made up of a 2 inch strip of Painted Autumn DSP, a stretched piece of 1/4″ Copper Trim glued down with Fast Fuse Adhesive. I then took a 1.5 inch strip of Early Espresso Cardstock and ran it through the Ticket Tear Border Punch. I adhered it to the ribbon with Stampin’ Dimensionals and then added fussy cut pumpkins and and Soft Sky Stamped Leaves.
I added flagged pieces of Very Vanilla Cardstock to share details of the photo. I hand lettered the information with the Pumpkin Pie Stampin’ Write Marker. This was a Kindergarten Field Trip that I chaperoned with my oldest son Preston. It was a lot of fun and I have more photos to put on pages and share.
Although cutting out all the pumpkins did take some time, I am loving the end result!
Come back again at 3 pm today to join me on the August Remarkable InkBig Blog Hop featuring a Thank You Theme! I will be featuring the final two cards for my Painted Harvest Greeting Card Box. Stop on back to check them out!

Adorable scrapbook page! I love every inch including Preston’s sweet smile.
That is so sweet, thank you Michelle!
