For today’s Scrapbook Sunday Feature, I created a Fall Layout with photos I have been wanting to use for awhile. I thought the Vintage Leaves Stamp Set and the Coordinating Leaflets Framelits Dies were the perfect set to use to create batches of Fall Leaves.
I stamped each leaf in Basic Black Archival Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock and added color with an Aqua Painter. I used the following Classic Inks for my Fall Colors: Soft Suede, Tangerine Tango, Always Artichoke, Cajun Craze and Crushed Curry. I think using just Cajun Craze would have been fine for the orange tones, they turned out being so close in color I couldn’t really tell the difference. I quickly cropped out the leaves with the coordinating Leaflets Framelits Dies.
I did the same with the Letters For You Stamp Set. I stamped them in Basic Black Archival Ink on Shimmery White Cardstock, cropped them out with the Big Shot and coordinating Large Letters Framelits Dies. I then colored the entire letter with an Aqua Painter and Cajun Craze Ink.
I wanted to make the leaves look like they were falling into a large pile. I strategically piled the leaves at the bottom and adhered them to the page with Fast Fuse and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I matted the photos with Always Artichoke Cardstock and wrapped Linen Thread around the bottom portion, finishing it off with a bow.
