The Painted Harvest Bundle Takes a Spin with Elegant Eggplant and Sparkly Silver!
The Hoot N’ Easy Friday and Scrapbook Sunday Features are taking a break as I spend a much needed 3-day weekend with my Husband and Boys. I still wanted to give you glimpses of creations I have made in the past month, but hadn’t had a chance to share on my blog. Today’s post features the Painted Harvest Bundle from the 2017 Holiday Catalog.
I rarely use shades of purple in my creations and I am not sure why as I sure do love the effects, especially when paired with the array of glimmery silver products Stampin’ Up! has available. I did lots of layers on this card, something I rarely do, but again, need to more often.
If you are not up to fussy cutting out the Sunflower, the Starburst Punch does the job quickly and it still looks amazing. I love the watercolor look of the sunflower and wanted a background to match. So I pulled out my trusty Aqua Painter and created a watercolor wash background and I think it did the trick and finished off the card beautifully.
