Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! This blog post will be short and sweet as I am spending time with my family, but I still wanted to share three projects from my OnStage 2017 Salt Lake City Display. Today’s featured stamp is that cute little bunny from Sweet Little Something!
I stamped the bunny above in three colors from the Neutrals Collection. I believe they were Sahara Sand, Crumb Cake, and Soft Suede. After stamping that cute little bunny, I quickly snipped him out with my Paper Snips and then adhered him to the Wood Crate. I used the Wood Textures DSP for the crate as I felt it paired well with the Neutral Colors I used on the bunny.
I cropped the sentiment and mat with two dies from the Layering Circles Framelits paired with my Big Shot. The Happy Easter sentiment works well when punched out with the Classic Label Punch. I adhered 2 pieces of the Green Glimmer Paper together and ran them through my paper shredder to use as the grass in the Wood Crate.
On this card, I went with a Square theme. I had just received the Basket of Wishes Stamp Set for a promotion and decided it was the perfect set to go with cute bunny rabbit. It really gave the card an Easter feel. I used the Tutti-Frutti Adhesive-Backed Sequins and a bow of Linen Thread as the final touch to my Easter Card.
I have to admit, this was the first shaker card that I have ever created. I had so much fun making it that I am sure there will be more to come. I wanted the bunny to be part of the shaker so I used the largest circle from the Layering Circles Framelits Dies to create my window. I used the White Glimmer Paper as the background within the shaker to add some sparkle. That new Myths & Magic Specialty Washi Tape is fabulous and I used just one strip to step-up my card.
