The Stamp Review Crew Brings Bella & Friends
Happy New Year With Bella & Friends!
Happy New Year 2018!
I get to start off 2018 with the Stamp Review Crew! Today we are featuring the stamp set: Bella and Friends. Such a cute set and I am so glad we are showcasing it as this is the first time I have inked it up! Pairing it with our Stampin’ Blends Premier Alcohol Markers definitely helps make an eye-catching card! The cute images and quotes are sure to put a smile on anyone’s face!
Card Base: Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut to 4 1/4 x 11 in. Scored/Folded at 5 1/2 inches for a standard sized card that fits perfectly in our Medium Sized Envelopes.
2nd Layer: Whisper White Thick Cardstock cut 1/8 inch smaller than the card base and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals to make it pop! I stamped the Dog and Bird image in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink and then colored the background with Pool Party and Old Olive Light and Dark Stampin’ Blends.
Stamped Images: Stamped in Tuxedo Black Momento Ink on Whisper White Thick Cardstock, then fussy cut with my Paper Snips. Adhered to the 2nd Layer with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The images were colored with the following Stampin’ Blends:
- Bird: Light and Dark Daffodil Delight, Light Pumpkin Pie
- Dog & Balloon: Light and Dark Smoky Slate, Light and Dark Calypso Coral
- Dog & Turtle: Light and Dark Old Olive, Light and Dark Crumb Cake, Bronze
Stamps: Bella & Friends, Available in Clear or Wood-Mount
Ink: Stampin’ Blends and Tuxedo Black Momento Ink
Tools & Adhesive: Stampin’ Trimmer, Paper Snips, Clear Stamp Blocks C, D & G, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals
Bella & Friends is such a cute set and perfect for any animal lover, especially those with dogs. It is a perfect set to color with the Stampin’ Blends, or even our Watercolor Pencils and a Blender Pen. So many cute images of Bella to use and color, this set it definitely a fun one!

I had already adhered Bella to the 2nd Layer when I decided I wanted to add the Pool Party Color as my background…so my little Bella received touches of color around my fussy snipped edges.
I have created a few cards with backgrounds using my Stampin’ Blends, so much so, I have to replace my Pool Party set. I definitely got a lot of use out of it and have been very happy with the quality of the Stampin’ Blends. I recommend them to anyone that likes to color, or even if you don’t, they can grow on you. I love to watercolor, so Blends definitely took some getting used to, and now I love them.
The Stampin’ Blends are available several ways: Individually, by Color Pairs (Light and Dark) and as a Bundle that includes all available colors.
