The adorable ladybugs are perfect for coloring with any medium.  Watercolor Pencils, Stampin’ Blends, Aqua Painter, Blender Pens, Stampin’ Write Markers, and MORE!

I used Shimmery White Cardstock and colored each image with Classic Ink that was paired with an Aqua Painter. 

I first created the background (also on Shimmery White) by stamping the grass (Over The Moon Stamp Set) and mini ladybugs in Jet Black Stāzon Ink.  I colored the grass (Pear Pizzazz), sky (Pool Party), and ladybugs (Cherry Cobbler, Smoky Slate & Blushing Bride) with an Aqua Painter. 

I darkened the black areas (spots, etc) with a Basic Black Stampin’ Write Marker.  I recommend doing this AFTER you are done watercoloring the images so that it doesn’t smear!

I then stamped all remaining images in Jet Black Stāzon (Little Ladybug & Over The Moon) onto Shimmery White.  I colored the large ladybugs the same as the small.  The flower was colored with Soft Suede, Crushed Curry, and Pear Pizzazz. All images were snipped with Paper Snips and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals. 

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark Ink onto a piece of Basic Black Cardstock that has been rubbed with an Embossing Buddy. I then covered it with White Stampin’ Emboss Powder, flicked it to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool.  I snipped it closely with Paper Snips and adhered it with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
