TGIF! It’s time for a SKETCH Challenge!
Since we are a few days into the January – February 28, 2022 Sale-a-Bration promotion, I wanted to make sure to share a project showcasing one of the Sale-a-Bration items you can earn for FREE! The Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper (158127) can be earned for FREE when you purchase the coordinating Daffodil Daydream Bundle (157795) or any other purchase valued at $50+ before tax and shipping!
Begin by using a Paper Trimmer to cut a piece of Very Vanilla Thick Cardstock to 4 1/4 x 11 . Score and fold at 5 1/2.
Adhere a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Basic Black Cardstock to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
Cut the following pieces of Daffodil Afternoon Designer Series Paper Strips: 3 1/2 x 1 1/4, 3 1/4 x 5/8, 2 5/8 x 3/4, 1 3/4 x 1 1/4, and 5/8 x 3/4.
Adhere the five strips as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue to a 3 7/8 x 5 3/8 piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock.
Zip through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine tucked inside a Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder.
Pull a piece of Vanilla Baker’s Twine into two pieces. Double wrap around the card layer, securing with a bow. Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Place the largest Layering Circle Die over the corner of a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. Crop with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Zip through again tucked inside a Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere to the lower left corner with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the daffodil image in Tuxedo Black Memento Ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. Crop with the coordinating Daffodil Dies and a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.
Color with the following Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs: Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, Pale Papaya, and Calypso Coral
Zip through the machine again tucked inside a Tasteful Textile 3D Embossing Folder. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Stamp the Thank You sentiment (Boughs & Blossoms) in Versamark Ink onto a 2 1/8 x 3/4 piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Cover with White Basics Embossing Powder. Gently tap to remove the excess and set with a Heat Tool. Adhere with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Color with a Pale Papaya Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker.
Embellish with Black Classic Matte Dots.
What is your favorite kind of flower? Daffodils, Tulips, Roses, or? I love Calla Lillies, Hydrangeas, and more…but I am not good at caring for them…the paper version is just fine for me.
