Welcome to the Stampin’ Pretty Pals’ Blog Hop!
This month’s theme is Random Acts of Kindness (RAKs). The Stampin’ Pretty Pals Community hope to inspire you with Random Acts of Kindness creations! You will find the lineup at the end of my post to help you “hop” along from Pal to Pal.
I’m so happy with the beautiful card I created by coloring the frond die-cuts from the Stampin’ Up Golden Greenery dies using Stampin’ Blends. The “you’re too kind” die-cut sentiment is from the Stampin’ Up Wanted to Say dies set, which works perfectly for a variety of card themes.
ombre fronds: stampin’ golden greenery dies
The Golden Greenery dies by Stampin’ Up are an elegant set of intricate die-cuts designed to add a touch of natural beauty to any crafting project. Featuring a collection of finely detailed fronds and foliage, these dies capture the delicate essence of greenery, making them perfect for layering, accents, or standalone embellishments.
card tutorial: You’re too Kind Card with Stampin’ Up wanted to say dies!
- Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Basic Black Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2 (portrait style card).
- Layer and adhere a 3 3/4 x 5 piece of Sweet Days of Autumn Designer Series Paper to a 4 x 5 1/4 piece of Cajun Craze cardstock, together and to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Double wrap a 4 x 2 1/4 piece of Petal Pink Cardstock with Cajun Craze Natural Tones Linen Thread, securing to the back of the cardstock with Stampin’ Seal. Adhere to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere a 3 1/4 square of Basic Black Cardstock as shown with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Tie two bows of Cajun Craze Natural Tones Linen Thread and adhere as shown with Mini Glue Dots.
- Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine along with the Golden Greenery frond die to crop three Basic White fronds. Color them with Cajun Craze, Calypso Coral and Petal Pink Stampin’ Blends Combo Packs.
- Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue, creating a slight curve as shown.
- Adhere to the card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Use Paper Snips to trim any fronds pieces that look out of place or hang too far over.
- Crop Petal Pink and Basic Black Cardstock with a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine (Standard or Mini) and the two Stampin’ Up! Wanted to Say Dies (die-cut words and coordinating drop shadow). Adhere together with Multipurpose Liquid Glue and to the card with Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Embellish as shown with Calypso Coral Ombre Matte Decorative Dots.

it’s here! stampin’ up! color coach!
The Color Coach is Stampin’ Up!’s version of the color wheel and is based on color theory—the combination of art and science that determines what colors look good together.
One side of the Color Coach has all current Stampin’ Up! colors (except Neutrals) laid out with a spinning wheel in the center. This center wheel gives you monochromatic, complementary, analogous, and triadic information about our colors. The back explains each of these concepts, plus our range of neutral colors.
