card tutorial: make this simple center-lift fun fold card
- Begin with a 4 1/4 x 11 piece of Melon Mambo Cardstock. Score and fold at 5 1/2.
- Cut 2 3/4 off the top of the card base. Save this piece.
- Cut the following pieces of Basic White Thick Cardstock: 2 1/2 x 4 (qty 2) and 5 1/4 x 4.
- Cut the following pieces of Toadstool Gardens Designer Series Paper: 2 1/4 x 3 3/4 (qty 2) and 5 3/4 x 2 1/2.
- Adhere the largest Basic White layer to the inside of the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the two smaller Basic White layers with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- Adhere the Smoky Slate panel to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
- Lay the White Baker’s Twine across the Melon Mambo piece you cut from the card base. Adhere the Designer Series Paper layer over the top as shown with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Adhere the panel as shown to the card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals (left side only).
- Crop a piece of Vellum Cardstock with the 2 3/8 Circle Punch. Adhere as shown, strategically placing the Stampin’ Dimensionals to remain hidden under the sentiment/toadstools.
- Stamp the toadstools (Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie) and stems (Smoky Slate) onto Basic White Cardstock. Snip the small toadstools and stem with Paper Snips and Punch the large toadstool with the Terrific Toadstool Builder Punch.
- Stamp the sentiment in Melon Mambo Classic Ink to a piece of Basic White Cardstock.
- Use a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine along with the Happy Hibiscus die to crop the sentiment.
- Adhere to the card with Regular and Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals as shown.
- Embellish with Adhesive-Backed Shiny Sequins.
- Adhere the Designer Series Paper to the flap of a Basic White Medium Envelope with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
